VISION ENERGIZES 138 KV / 110 MW SUBSTATION – UFV FRANCISCO SÁ

VISION energized in February 2022 another 138 kV substation for the flow of energy from solar sources. This is the UFV FRANCISCO SÁ 1/2/3 (Photovoltaic Power Plant) project, belonging to CANADIAN SOLAR / NEBRAS, located in the municipality of Francisco Sá/MG.
The project provided by VISION on a turnkey basis (projects, civil works, assembly, HV/MT/LV equipment, commissioning and startup), includes the execution of a 34.5kV/138kV high voltage collector substation to drain an approximate generation of up to 110MW and a 138kV sectioning substation CEMIG standard, this standard with MMHC modules (Compact Hybrid Maneuver Module – GIS technology) and an electrical room in an electrocenter to house P&C panels.
VISION continues to play an important role in the expansion of solar energy in Brazil. This energy source has already surpassed the historic mark of 14 GW (giga watts) in power, surpassing the Itaipu hydroelectric plant, the second largest in the world.
In this way, solar energy is already in the fourth position of the Brazilian electricity matrix, surpassing the installed power of thermoelectric plants powered by oil and other fossils.
